Ghana Council Officials Visits Franklin County Sheriff's Office
Ghana Council Ohio together with Chiefs and Elders of the Ghanaian Community in Ohio paid a scheduled visit to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
During the visit, we had a sit down conversation with officers of the Sheriff's Department to discuss ways to strengthen ties between the Sheriff’s Office and the community. We had opportunity to tour the brand new James A. Karnes Corrections Center and talked about career opportunities.
To show appreciation to Franklin County Sheriff Office Chief Deputies and members of Command Staff, our Chiefs led by Nene Tawia Akrobettoe I, presented a special gift of beautiful, hand-stitched Kente scarves expressing gratitude for first responders. We learned so much and look forward to our next visit
